NWT: the specialist in by-products
NWT-CT GmbH debones, processes and packages meat and meat products for the national and international markets. NWT does this at a 6,000 square metre location in Twist, Germany. At NWT, 170 employees produce and package, among other things, pork by-products of the highest quality for global wholesalers and the processing industry.
The constantly changing market conditions have resulted in logistical challenges. To meet these challenges in the future and respond flexibly to all customer requirements, NWT has its own cold store and, together with sister company Vion Move, several ultra modern refrigerated lorries.
Vision and mission
NWT’s vision is to add value to its pork by-products as optimally and flexibly as possible and make them available to the widest possible range of people. The world needs affordable and tasty products with high nutritional value. NWT aims to feed the world with valuable and food-safe proteins.

NWT’s main responsibility is therefore to ensure the safety of all products in every respect. To safeguard production processes, the company continuously invests in infrastructure and intensive quality management. NWT follows strict procedures and uses various independent certification standards to improve food safety management, such as QS, QC, HACCP, EC accreditation, BIO, GLN and Beter Leven.
